West Coast Premiere of MOTHER INDIA

After two successful Advance Screenings in California, we took the wonderful feedback from over 700 viewers and edited the final cut of MOTHER INDIA: Life Through the Eyes of the Orphan (narrated by Rebecca St. James – Grammy Award-winning Artist), and we’re excited to launch the film with a West Coast Premiere!

You probably have a few questions about the documentary. We’ve tried to answer as many as possible in our FAQs, but there are three things that you definitely need to know…

    Parents should be aware that the film shows the raw reality of living as an abandoned and orphaned child on the streets of India. Interviews include topics of drug abuse, sexuality, violence, and HIV/AIDS, and drug use is explicitly shown.

    The documentary is accessible to people of all backgrounds, and the focus is on the stories of the children not on a certain faith tradition.

    Prepare to be inspired by the images and stories. This will be a motivating experience that will change the way you see vulnerable children in the world.

Punjammies Available for Purchase at Advance Screenings

We have invited International Princess Project to join us for both Advance Screenings of MOTHER INDIA: Life Through the Eyes of the Orphan on June 6th and 8th, 2012, in Orange County, California, in order to make their beautiful Punjammies available for purchase.

IPP is a non-profit organization that empowers women formerly enslaved by prostitution to restore their lives. The mission of International Princess Project is to advocate for women enslaved as prostitutes, restore their broken lives, and empower them to live free. Currently, they achieve their mission through providing vocational training and dignified work for women escaping lives of forced prostitution. This includes the opportunity to support themselves vocationally, to heal in body and spirit, and to live lives of freedom. They strive to raise awareness about human trafficking, empower people to rise up with financial support, and action to help bring an end to forced prostitution worldwide.
